XXVth biennial meeting of the International Society of Eye Research (ISER)

Lieu : Gold Coast, Queensland, Australie

Dear Colleagues,

It is a great pleasure to invite you to save the date, to join us for the XXVth biennial meeting of the International Society of Eye Research (ISER) to be held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia on September 18-22, 2022. It will be a long time between drinks as they say, but well worth the wait I guarantee.

Come together with different eye and vision researchers from across the globe to exchange and share new findings over a wide range of eye research sections, all to be presented in specific and interdisciplinary themed sessions, open forums, panel discussions, and loads more. We are in the process of developing the scientific program and happily considering suggestions, with a formal invitation to our membership to come in due course.

As with all ISER meetings, we strongly encourage and promote our young investigators to attend and present their work to their peers and experienced leaders in their respective fields. With many networking opportunities and activities on offer, along with a large number of awards to support travel, it is one of the best introductions to the global eye research community, in an intimate and relaxed setting.

Attending the meeting will take you on a journey of discovery that is bound to deliver and provide more than showcasing excellence in national and international eye research. The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is perfectly positioned to offer you an affordable working family holiday getaway like no other, in a relaxed atmosphere of surf, sun, sand, shopping and entertainment, and some of the finest and freshest tropical produce in Australia! The exciting nightlife of nearby Surfers Paradise, the beautiful hinterland on our doorstep, and the northern lush tropical rainforests and the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef all await you!
There’s never been a better time to visit the Gold Coast – Australia’s postcard-perfect coastal playground that remains the country’s premier tourist destination. We encourage you to explore and discover all the excitement that a conference in Queensland has to offer. The phrase ‘beautiful one day, perfect the next’ is synonymous with Queensland and its beaches, considered some of the best in the world. So come along and present, share, learn and network, as we guarantee that you will find even more than meets the eye. We are very excited and pleased to welcome you to join us in the Gold Coast in 2022.
